Premier League Sack Race Odds: Who Will Be The Next Manager To Go?
West Ham manager David Moyes has emerged as the odds-on favourite in the Premier League sack race after his team lost 4-0 to Brighton at the weekend.
It left the Hammers just one point clear of the relegation zone, and betting sites are now offering just 17/20 on Moyes being handed his marching orders.
Eight Premier League managers have already been dismissed this season: Scott Parker, Thomas Tuchel, Bruno Lage, Steven Gerrard, Ralph Hasenhüttl, Frank Lampard, Jesse Marsch and Nathan Jones.
Graham Potter left Brighton to replace Tuchel at Chelsea in September, so there have been nine changes over the course of the campaign.
There are still more than two months remaining, so we could see a record number of managerial casualties this season.
Moyes may be the favourite, but long shots have regularly upset the odds in this market over the course of the campaign.

Moyes cut a forlorn figure on the touchline as he watched West Ham suffer a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Brighton at the weekend.
The Hammers fans chanted “you don’t know what you’re doing” and “you’re getting sacked in the morning” at their beleaguered manager.
He was not sacked the following morning, as club owner David Sullivan said the board is “behind the manager, despite a very poor performance”.
However, Moyes is certainly fighting to keep his job after presiding over an alarming slump in form this season, but people are still searching online for 'next West Ham manager odds' in their droves.
West Ham finished seventh last term and then spent £163.8m on new players in the summer in a bid to mount a top-four bid.
Instead, they are locked in a fierce relegation battle, just two points clear of bottom club Bournemouth after losing 14 out of 25 games so far.
Moyes is now priced at 17/20 with 888sport to become the next Premier League manager to be sacked, which looks appealing when you consider that the four clubs below the Hammers in the table have all fired their head coaches already this season.
Graham Potter
Potter was the favourite in this market a week ago, but he earned himself a measure of breathing room courtesy of Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Leeds on Saturday.
The Blues remain 10th in the standings, 29 points behind Arsenal, which is a dismal return on new owner Todd Boehly’s record-breaking investment in new players.
Yet the American businessman has repeatedly given Potter his backing, insisting that he should be given time to turn things around.
You could argue that the former Brighton boss was handed an impossible task in trying to turn so many new signings into a well-oiled machine, so it is perhaps unsurprising that they are stuck in mid-table and out of both cup competitions.
However, thousands of fans have signed a petition calling for Potter to be sacked, and Boehly may eventually be spurred into action if results do not improve.
He is now the 5/2 second favourite with the best football betting sites and the end could come soon for Potter.
Brendan Rodgers
Rodgers is also back under intense pressure after Leicester lost three Premier League games on the bounce.
It left the Foxes two points above the drop zone and just three points ahead of Bournemouth, who are bottom of the table.
His misery was compounded when Leicester suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Championship side Blackburn in the FA Cup fifth round last week.
It means they have lost four games in all competitions, and Rodgers is now priced at 8/1 with William Hill to become the next Premier League boss to be sacked.
Leicester’s saving grace could be their star-studded attack - only seven Premier League teams have scored more goals than the Foxes this season - but they are precariously close to the relegation zone, and Rodgers is skating on thin ice.
Gary O’Neil
Bournemouth’s inevitable slide to the bottom of the Premier League table was complete when they suffered an agonising 3-2 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.
It was an encouraging performance from the Cherries, but they have only taken five points from their last 10 games, and they remain one of the favourites in the Premier League relegation odds.
O’Neil led them to a few impressive results after replacing Parker in the dugout, but Bournemouth have only won one of their 11 games since he was handed the job on a permanent basis.
The board may opt for one last throw of the dice and bring in a survival specialist to replace O’Neil for the final weeks of the campaign, so he is 12/1 with BetVictor to be sacked next.
Antonio Conte
The Spurs boss is next in the sack race following an inconsistent season for his team, who lost 1-0 to Wolves on Saturday.
They remain fourth in the table, but the teams below them have games in hand, and it will now be difficult for them to finish in the Champions League places.
Conte has been sidelined in recent weeks as he recovers from gallbladder surgery, but he appears fated to leave the club in the summer.
Talks over a new contract stalled, and he is reportedly keen on a return to Italy, so his days in north London are numbered.
He may walk away before the end of the campaign, or he may be pushed if he continues to lambast his players in press conferences, so he is also 12/1 in this market.
The Rest
Patrick Vieira has dropped to 16/1 with some UK bookmakers, although you can still find 20/1 with betting apps on the Crystal Palace manager going next.
The Eagles are on a nine-game winless streak, and they are in danger of being sucked into the relegation battle.
A 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend left them five points clear of safety, so Vieira needs to turn things around sharpish.
Steve Cooper is also 20/1 with most bookies after Nottingham Forest took just two points from their last four games.
Longer shots include Ruben Selles (33/1), Javi Gracia (40/1) and Jurgen Klopp (40/1), whose Liverpool team just thumped Man Utd 7-0.
