Premier League Top Four Odds: Who Will Grab The Coveted Spots?

Liverpool blew the race for a top-four finish wide open by easing to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at St James’ Park recently.
It left Jurgen Klopp’s men six points behind the Magpies, and betting sites are now offering just 6/4 on the Reds gate-crashing the Champions League places.
Arsenal and Man City have pulled away from the chasing pack, and they are now both priced at 1/50 to finish in the top four.
Man Utd have also shortened to just 1/10 with some bookmakers after their 3-0 victory over Leicester on Sunday.
The Red Devils are now seven points clear of Spurs and eight ahead of Newcastle, and they have Arsenal and Man City in their sights.
Barring any major implosions, that leaves just one remaining place in next season’s Champions League up for grabs.
Brighton and Fulham are still going strong, but the bookies see it as a three-horse race between Liverpool, Newcastle and Spurs.
You can find the updated odds below, followed by our analysis of each team’s chances of securing a coveted top four finish.
Liverpool
The Reds were priced at just 1/10 with the best football betting sites to secure a top four finish at the start of the season.
After all, they have not finished outside the top four since 2016, and they racked up an impressive haul of 92 points last term.
However, Liverpool made a slow start to the current campaign, and they were languishing in mid-table at the halfway stage.
Yet Klopp’s men appear to have rediscovered their best form in recent weeks.
They swept Everton aside at Anfield, and they delivered an imperious first-half performance to end Newcastle’s 17-match unbeaten run at the weekend
Virgil Van Dijk and Dioga Jota are back from injury, providing Klopp with a major boost, while new signings Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez are starting to find their feet.
Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho have also improved, which bodes well for Liverpool’s future prospects.
They remain eighth in the standings, but the Reds are now just seven points behind Spurs, with two games in hand.
There is plenty of time for them to overhaul the teams ahead of them, and they have more than enough quality within their ranks to do so.
As such, Liverpool are now priced at 6/4 to finish in the top four, leaving them ahead of Newcastle and Spurs in the betting.
Newcastle
A lack of cutting edge in the final third of the pitch has dented Newcastle’s top-four challenge in recent weeks.
The Magpies have emerged as the Premier League’s draw specialists: 11 of their 23 games this season have finished all-square.
They have the best defensive record in the division, with only 15 goals conceded, but they have scored fewer goals than any other team in the top nine.
Eddie Howe’s troops are currently winless in four games, and they appear to be running out of steam at the worst time of the year.
Goalkeeper Nick Pope, who has been a colossus this season, now faces a spell on the sidelines after he was sent off following a moment of madness against Liverpool.
A few weeks ago, the Magpies were odds-on to finish in the top four, but they have now drifted out to 6/4 with Bet365.
They are just one point behind Spurs, with a game in hand, but they need to return to winning ways quickly to reignite their challenge.
Tottenham
Spurs have returned to the Champions League places after picking up three wins from their last four league matches.
A heavy defeat to Leicester dented any optimism among supporters, but Tottenham responded with an impressive 2-0 win against West Ham recently.
It maintained assistant coach Christian Stellini’s 100% record this season.
He led the team into that game while Antonio Conte recovers from gallbladder surgery, having previously overseen a 1-0 win against Man City and an important Champions League victory over Marseille.
Spurs have been a little suspect in defence at times this season, but they boast a great deal of firepower, giving them a great chance of finishing in the top four.
Yet they lack consistency, so they have drifted out to 7/4 with BetVictor in this market.
The Rest
Brighton slipped seven points behind Spurs in the top-four race after they lost 1-0 to Fulham at the weekend.
They still have two games in hand, but it left them with a mountain to climb, so they are now out at 12/1 with betting apps.
Chelsea are 10th in the standings, 11 points behind the top four, so they are 33/1 outsiders, despite embarking on a record-breaking spending spree this season.
Fulham are up to sixth, four points behind Spurs, but they are 80/1 outsiders.
Brentford are level in points with Brighton and Liverpool, but they also draw too many games, so they are priced at 150/1 to spring a surprise.
